The stock T.O.Bearing is great.....The RPS clutch does come with a new T.O. bearing and it is the same as stock. I had a customer take his car to a well known shop and they put 3 brand new Nissan T.O.bearings in and it still made noise.....I told the customer I have never had a problem and they must be installing it wrong.....He said no way its a Z shop .......I said bring it in , Let me install a brand new Nissan T.O. bearing and if the noise is not gone I will charge you nothing.....He said fine. I installed a new bearing and could easily see the problem..... It was installed wrong :( I put a new one in and it was perfect :)
What they did is press the new bearing on pushing on the bearing surface....you could see the marks.... When a T.O. bearing is installed you need to push on the inner lip and not the bearing surface....I use part of an old axle bearing that fits perfectly. This is a very common mistake.
